WELCOME!

Young America Works Public Charter School students learn not only academics, they learn the value of self-respect, and the value of doing a good job both at school and in the workplace. Our program integrates strong academics and vocational technical skills in a positive learning environment.

From the 12-month program to paid internships, our students are part of a unique educational community. Upon graduation, students are ready for work, ready for college, and ready to give back to the community.

	November 15, 2009 "READ TO LEAD" 2009-2010 Young America Reads Book Club & The Eagle's Nest Resource Learning Center presents"Read to Lead". 2009-2010. YAWPCS welcomed Moses Miller the author of "The Barack in Me". Mr. Miller spoke to the YAWPCS student body.
	September 3, 2009 9TH GRADE ORIENTATION YAWPCS welcomes the parents/guardians of our 9th grade students entering into the 9th Grade Academy.
